Tom is a doctor. Tom is from ex Yugoslavia and has sent his haiku on the heroic resistance of Vukovar, where of the 400 who had sought shelter in the town's hospital, 260 were massacred and buried in a mass grave by Serb forces, when these took control of the city, in 1991.(http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/2988304.stm).
